Department of Pathology
Elizabeth Kertowidjojo is a board-certified surgical pathologist specializing in gynecologic pathology. Her research interest focuses on neoplastic diseases of the gynecologic tract, integrating morphologic and immunohistochemical features as they relate to disease etiology and molecular findings.
Her work has been presented at international conferences and published in several peer-reviewed journals, including the American Journal of Pathology, Current Opinion in Oncology, Tumori Journal, and European Journal of Gynaecological Oncology.
Kertowidjojo received her MD and PhD from New York Medical College, followed by residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at Stony Brook Medicine on Long Island, New York, during which time she also earned a master’s degree in public health. Most recently, she completed fellowship training in oncologic surgical pathology and gynecologic pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
