Department of Pediatrics
Naema Chowdhury is a pediatrician who specializes in pediatric pulmonary medicine. Her research interests include neonatal respiratory distress, pediatric asthma, childhood cystic fibrosis, air pollution and respiratory outcomes, and pediatric inhalational injury.
Her work has been published in Pediatric Annals and Respiratory Care. She has presented her research at the American Thoracic Society national conference and the North American Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Conference.
Chowdhury received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada. She performed her pediatric residency at Maimonides Children’s Hospital in Brooklyn and completed a pediatric pulmonology fellowship at the University of Chicago Medicine.
